TEMPUS: A Benefit Dance Production
April 23 @ 7:00 pm - April 25 @ 9:00 pm
TEMPUS, a benefit dance production with proceeds from the show being donated to the Sea to Sky Hospice Society. Inspired by the novel ‘Einstein’s Dreams’ by Alan Lightman, TEMPUS is a groundbreaking collaboration between The Sea to Sky Dance Collective and newly formed Create-Able Arts Society, which supports artists with disabilities. Co-directed by Michael K. Hewitt, a talented hard-of-hearing composer with a unique auditory perspective, this production weaves original music with dynamic choreography, exploring the intriguing and reflective theme of time. TEMPUS marks the fourth production that Michael and the Collective have worked together on and will offer audiences an evocative journey through sound and motion unlike what they have created before. This project represents more than a performance; it’s a celebration of diversity, artistry, and the power of collaboration. Join us in shaping a production that promises to inspire and engage, leaving a lasting impact on audiences, artists and the local community.
