Why It Matters
Although 22% of Canadians identify as having a disability, disabled artists remain significantly underrepresented in funding, leadership, and performance opportunities. Systemic barriers — from inaccessible venues to limited professional networks — hinder progress and perpetuate inequity.
Create-Able exists to change that.
We do this by building access into the foundation of our programs, centering disabled leadership, and investing in long-term artistic careers — not just one-time moments.
